Over the past century, physicists have made a huge number of very important discoveries. It was then that the first theories about many worlds, black holes and wormholes appeared. Now all these theories are very often used in books and science fiction films.

For the first time, Erwin Schrödinger expressed the idea that parallel Universes could exist. At the same time, he did not use a modern term, but called such phenomena a reality, and all actions in different realities occur simultaneously.
In 1957, Hugh Everett, in his doctoral dissertation, described a theory that experts today call the “Many-Worlds Interpretation.” After that, physicists around the world began to propose the idea that there are many Universes, where physically the most different results of quantum measurements can be realized.

In the 21st century, the most attention to this theory pays physicist Sean Carroll. He cannot even imagine how many such worlds actually exist, but he is sure that there are a lot.

The physicist said that the atomic nuclei, which are in the body of every person, decay. Several thousand such decays occur per second. After decay, atomic nuclei begin to interact with what surrounds them. As a result, the question arises of how many such phenomena can actually exist in everyday life. The physicist added that, most likely, such phenomena can be endless.

In turn, Brian Cox added that the theory of multiple worlds is a completely reasonable alternative to what was previously considered in relation to the decay of atomic nuclei. Accepting the fact that the number of Universes can be infinite is much easier than if she was alone.

Scientists agree that there could be an infinite number of parallel universes.
