The 50-year-old Sonia Burton from the UK Northumberland had no heartbeat for almost an hour after a major heart attack. During that time she was visited in their own words by her deceased husband, who would have told her that “it wasn’t her time yet.”

The mother of four said: “The only thing I remember is my deceased man who came to me and said ‘it is not yet your time Sonia, go back to your children.” Then I woke up in the hospital. ”

On the day of the heart attack she went extra early for work to drink coffee with her colleagues. Suddenly, she felt pain in her chest, and she collapsed. Her boss tried to resuscitate her while emergency services were called.

Eight days after the accident, she was allowed to return home, where she was cared for by brother Mark and her four children.

“I can not believe I’m actually been dead for one long hour”, Sonia said. “I forget things quickly and swallow a lot of medication, but it goes very well with me.”

Ambulance Brother Stephen said: “My colleague Jason and I have over 50 years experience and none of us has ever seen anyone come back after such a long time. It is incredible that it goes so well with Sonia. ”
